Coming north on Route One in midcoast Maine;
Take the Damariscotta, Newcastle exit and once you have come down the hill, immediately go straight through the intersection next to the congregational brick church, onto Route 215. (do not bear right into town) Follow approximately 2 miles and go over the railroad tracks and a small bridge and then take a sharp left hand turn just past the white church that's now a residence and on the left. This is still Route 215. Go up the hill past Alewive's Fabric Store on the left and take your first right onto Borland Hill Road. (Big rock at the corner). My studio is located in what was once a church; the number is 123, the building is yellow, and it is the fifth place on the left. Welcome.
**Great swimming hole and small beach just beyond Borland Hill Road turn off. Continue on Rt. 215 for 60 yards until you get to the bridge on Damariscotta Lake.
Coming south on Route One in midcoast Maine;
Continue on Route One past Business Rt.1 exit for Damariscotta, until you see a sign for Route 215 and Damariscotta Mills. Take this exit. You will see Lous Doe Home Center across the street.
